The Desire to Belong is a Want, Not a Need

😊✨Inspired by a personal growth book I’m reading (Braving the Wilderness by Brene Brown) in my own words:

Belonging is a want, not a need. You do not need to belong because you can stand on your own. Know and value your self-worth and uniqueness. You belong nowhere and not everywhere. You belong nowhere because you were born to stand out from societal norms. You attract what you believe. Remove negativity, the doubt, and the fear. Replace it with positivity and bravery (Bravery is stepping out on fear and doing it anyway.) Step out on faith, faith unlocks doors. You believe you’ll get discovered for more, then you will. Push aside the doubters, naysayers, and sabotagers. Throw away the feeling of needing to belong; embrace the feeling of uniqueness and standing out from the norm.
