10 Things You Can Do Daily to Gradually Improve Your Life

1. Write down in a journal 10 things you are grateful for (helps train your brain to see the “good” in every day)

2. Do 10-15 minutes of mindfulness meditation (yoga, Qigong, listening to calming music, classical dance movements)

3. Engage in 60 minutes of physical activity (walking, running, cycling, swimming, weight lifting, cardio kickboxing etc.)

4. Grow your knowledge (read a book, read research articles in relation to your career, etc.)

5. Build your Audience (Connect and interact with others on social media, go to a community event, go to where people want to constantly grow and become better, etc.)

6. Character (Self-reflections, do this sometime later in the day. Reflecting on what you can do to improve for the next day is important and leads you to achieving greater each time you do this.)

7. Use your free time wisely (In the “peak” hours of the day while you’re on social media, you could instead get things done you don’t think you have the time to do.)

8. Partake in a spiritual practice (praying, listening to gospel music, fasting, chat with the Higher Power, spiritual reading, spiritual cleansing, etc.)

9. Commit 1 hour to down time (A time when you do not have to be right or wrong. Do whatever you want….watch tv, scroll through your social media news feed, take a nap, etc.)

10. Go to bed as early as possible (Get at least 6-9 hours of sleep each night, do an evening ritual to prepare your brain for sleep, dim the lights in your home 2 hours prior to bedtime, put on essential oil diffuser, while you sleep play Reiki energy healing music — this keeps me sleeping for the whole night)
